Note: Death Notice Burke, VA - Josephine D. Moran, 95, of Cove
Landing Road, Burke, VA and formerly of Edgewood Terrace,
Newburgh, died Thursday, Jan. 3, 1991 at Fairfax Hospital,
Falls Church, VA. Born Oct. 5, 1995, in the town of Newburgh,
she was the daughter of the late Frank J. Zimmerman and
Margaret J. McGoldrick. A 65-year area resident, she was a
receptionist and bookkeeper for Dr. Banks in Newburgh. She was
a member of the Balmville Grange and the New York State Grange.
Toohey Brothers Funeral Chapel, 481 Gidney Ave., Newburgh.
Mass of Christian Burial Monday, January 6 at our Lady of Mercy
Church in Roseton. Internment Calvery Cemetary, New Windsor.
Married Edward Joseph Moran February 5, 1889 (Note: this date
is uncertain).
According to the 1920 census, Josephine was at home.
